One September Award Home Winner has Storybook Charm

Brian Stier is the  owner of 4522 Beaver Avenue.  Brian is a south Fort Wayne native who has, since 1992, lived in a classic Tudor with storybook elements.  The brick and stone exterior, shutters, leaded windows, and front door worthy of a Hobbit's abode. These are all features that further define the Tudor as "storybook style".  (Those of you who attended the 2008 ARCH-Southwood Park Tour lecture about "Storybook Style" with Douglas Keister may remember this.)  But that style doesn't end as you enter ... inside, storybook elements continue with beamed ceilings, a truly charming fireplace, hardware, and a handsome library.Brian appreciates Southwood Park for many reasons: its diversity, his neighbors, the trees, and its historic and classic house styles.  No surprise there as he owns one of the neighborhood's storybook gems.
