May is historic preservation month

Let’s take a moment to appreciate Historic Southwood Park’s last 108 years as we begin National Historic Preservation Month!

We are lucky to live in a great neighborhood, blessed with great architecture in a beautiful natural setting. And we have been gifted these things by a century of maintenance and care. Yes, thoughtful maintenance is preservation, too!

We hope to add to this article a few times this month, celebrating our past, examining our present, and looking ahead to our future. Stay tuned.
