YMCA to locate in neighborhood

The YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne publicly announced it will locate in our neighborhood at the Summit Campus.

The Y will open its tenth campus, the Turpin Family YMCA, in the former Taylor/Fort Wayne Bible College athletic center in 2027. The building will feature rooms with new exercise equipment, a child watch room, locker rooms, indoor pickleball courts, basketball, and other amenities to be determined. The YMCA will also be moving its headquarters to the Summit Campus. Renovations to the retreat center will create the Phillips Center for YMCA Leadership this year to welcome the YMCA's staff of 20 to the neighborhood.

We will pass along information about opening dates as they become available. We want to support this investment in our neighborhood and encourage you to join the Y, especially since you'll be able to walk there!
